Project Objective:
The client’s wish list at the start of the project included:
- To create a more professional and better looking website
- To launch a new second site to focus on his professional speaking business
- Ability to easily update and edit content
- A way to easily post and incorporate video
- Contact forms

Methodology:
DCG was a double project. The client was looking to not only refresh his old-looking website but he also wanted a dedicated website to highlight and promote his separate speaking business. We created the second site to be an extension of the main consulting business, but with a complementary design. So although the companion site has a similar feel, it stands on it’s own.
One of the main requirements was to create a website that the client could easily edit without the need to hire a designer or a programmer for each minor change. We set him up on an easy to use CMS system. We trained the client on how to use it and now he is able to edit content, add or remove pages, and write blogs independently.
Results:
The client now enjoys two well structured and optimized websites. We do not have previous data, since the previous website was not tracked, but since the implementation of the new websites, the traffic has been improving by about 40% month over month. Bounce rate is decreasing by 10% and visitors are staying on the site on average 2.5minutes.
We are continuing to work with the client on ongoing basis as part of regular monthly maintenance.
